Machine Setter/Operator

Are you experienced with setting and operating EDM or multi axis CNC machines? Our client manufacturer precision engineering parts for the aerospace and power generation industry, who are looking for a Machine Setter/Operator on a 2 month contract to support with an increase in workload.

Hourly rate £13.87 - £16.64 depending on shift
Days or lates shift available
Days: Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm
Lates: Monday to Wednesday 4:30pm – 2:30am, Thursday 4:30pm – 1:30am

Machine Setter/Operator 
Job Description

• Use and control of EDM machines and other machinery in the area.
• Set up machinery with required work holding and tooling
• Read and understand all manufacturing instructions before commencing operation including machine and tolling set up packs, engineering drawings and data cards.
• Complete work booking requirements within the MRP system.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Previous experience setting and operating EDM or multi axis CNC machines
• Well versed working within a high precision industry on precision components/products
• Ability to read and understand set up packs, engineering drawings and data cards
