We are currently working with a leading engineering business within the energy and power generation sector, who are looking to add an experienced Industrial Painter to their team in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced painter with a strong background in industrial spraying and two-pack paint systems, working on pipework and associated equipment within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
The RoleAs an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting pipework and associated components to a high standard, ensuring all work meets the required quality, finish and safety standards.
You will work as part of an experienced engineering team, supporting the preparation and finishing of equipment used within the power generation and energy sector.

You will work as part of an experienced engineering team, supporting the preparation and finishing of equipment used within the power generation and energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pipework and components for painting, including cleaning, degreasing and surface preparation.
- Apply industrial coatings using spray application techniques.
- Work with two-pack (2K) paint systems.
- Ensure correct paint mixing, application and curing in line with manufacturer requirements.
- Achieve consistent, high-quality finishes across pipework and equipment.
- Inspect finished work and identify any defects or areas requiring additional preparation or coating.
- Maintain spray equipment, tools and work areas.
- Follow all COSHH, PPE and Health & Safety procedures.
- Work to production schedules and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Work closely with the wider engineering and production teams.
Essential Experience
- Previous industrial painting/spraying experience.
- Proven experience using two-pack / 2K paint systems.
- Experience painting pipework, steelwork or fabricated components.
- Strong understanding of surface preparation and industrial coatings.
- Good attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
- Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team.
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, fabrication or power generation.
- Experience working with pipework.
- Experience with airless or conventional spray equipment.
- Knowledge of different industrial coating systems.
- Relevant painting/spraying qualifications.
- £17–£20 per hour, depending on experience.
