Our client, a renown automotive manufacturing business, is recruiting an Injection Mould Setter for their site in Birmingham. The role will involve being responsible for changing over a range of injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment.

Monday – Friday (37.5 hours, double days)
Week 1: Monday 05:00 – 13:30, Tuesday – Thursday 05:50 – 13:50, Friday 05:50 – 13:20
Week 2: Monday – Thursday 13:00 – 21:00, Friday 12:30 – 20:30

Injection Mould Setter
Job Description

• Setting up and changing over tooling and equipment efficiently across a range of moulding machines to meet production schedules.
• Conducting trials, quality checks and adjustments to ensure parts meet required standards before production release.
• Safely starting up, operating and shutting down injection moulding machines, adhering to all site safety and LOTO procedures.
• Supporting maintenance, material preparation and equipment readiness to minimise downtime and maintain smooth production flow.
• Contributing to continuous improvement, 5S standards and team flexibility within a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience working with multiple injection mould machines.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced tier 1 manufacturing environment.
