HGV Service Technician

Role: HGV Service Technician
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Pay: £28,000 – £33,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 – 3:30 (flexible on hours – 40 hours per week)
Location: Halesowen
 
I’m currently recruiting for a leading Engineering company based near Halesowen, in the West Midlands. My client is looking for an HGV Service Technician to join them on a permanent basis due to growth in the company.
 
 
HGV Service Technician – Key responsibilities:

• Service, repair and diagnose HGV and tanker vehicles  
• Work mainly outdoors and as part of a team
• Perform routine maintenance, fault-finding and repair work on tankers
• Follow all health and safety procedures

 
 
HGV Service Technician - Essential Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience working as a service engineer or technician in Mechanical Engineering
• Background in maintaining heavy goods vehicles or working on tankers would be beneficial, however full training is provided
• Strong work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude
• HGV licence (Desirable)
