We are looking for a Group Health and Safety Manager to develop and maintain policies and procedures alongside creating a strategic vision. The successful candidate will enjoy a hands-on role and have dealt with multiple health and safety scenarios.

Group Health and Safety Manager
Job Description
  • Develop, implement and monitor health & safety policies across the group, ensuring compliance and consistency with current legislation.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and incident investigations to identify and prevent workplace hazards.
  • Promote a positive safety culture by engaging employees in continuous improvement and awareness of their responsibilities.
  • Deliver and coordinate training programs for employees, contractors and new starters
  • Lead safety committees and reporting, maintaining accurate records and serving as the main contact for external bodies.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • Well versed with developing health and safety policies, procedures, risk assessments and safety audits.
  • Previous worked within a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Full UK driving license
