Type: Permanent
Pay: £13 per hour + Overtime (x1.5)
Hours: Mon-Thurs 7AM-4PM, Fri 7AM-12PM
Location: Wotton-under-Edge
 
We’re looking for a Goods Inwards Operative to play a key role in our busy engineering facility. You’ll be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming goods, ensuring all materials are accurately recorded, stored, and ready for production.

Job Description

• Unload deliveries safely and efficiently
• Check and verify paperwork, ensuring all goods are correctly booked in on Sage 200
• Inspect incoming items for quality and accuracy
• Organise and store materials in the correct locations
• Support rolling stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory
• Assist with deburring and other general duties as required

Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Experience using Sage 200 (or similar ERP system)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of housekeeping
• FLT licence preferred (training can be provided)

• 1.5x Overtime available
• 20 days annual holidays + bank holiday per annum
• Contributory pension scheme 5% minimum of salary, matched by 3% from the company. There is a 3-month qualifying period
