Are you an experienced Fire Pump Engineer looking for your next challenge? Our client is a well-established and respected specialist within the power generation sector, providing the installation, servicing and maintenance of critical fire pump systems across a wide range of commercial and industrial sites. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Fire Pump Engineer to cover London and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Fire Pump Engineer, you'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of diesel-driven fire pump systems, ensuring customers' life safety equipment remains fully operational and compliant.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing and maintaining diesel-driven fire pump systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
• Testing pumps, engines and control panels to ensure reliable operation.
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Delivering a professional and customer-focused service across commercial and industrial sites throughout London and the surrounding areas.
  
  

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire pump systems.
• Good knowledge of diesel engines.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• CSCS Card.

Desirable:

• Electrical qualifications or experience diagnosing electrical faults.
• Experience working on fire pump control panels and associated equipment.
• Engineers with experience on diesel-driven pump systems or similar critical pumping equipment will also be considered.
