Field Service Engineer – Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for advanced water instruments in lab and field settings, mainly across the UK
- Service, fault-find and repair of electronic, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Written log reports for tracebility purposes.
- Meet customer requirements and provide excellent customer service.
- Role is 80% field-based, requiring independence, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills.
Field Service Engineer - Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record of electronic and mechanical engineering, evidenced through practical experience and/or academic qualifications.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, essential for a customer-facing role.
- Adaptable and flexible, with an open-minded approach to new ideas.
- Able to relay customer requirements and suggest product improvements effectively.
- Full UK driving licence and valid passport.
- Training in working within ATEX-rated environments or electrical installation would be advantageous.
