Escalator Technician

We are looking for an experienced Escalator Technician to join our engineering team. You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, refurbishment and fault-finding of escalators and associated equipment, delivering a high standard of safety, quality and customer service.

Job Description

• Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and inspections on escalators
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults
• Complete risk assessments and work safely at all times
• Liaise with customers and provide professional service
• Support and mentor other engineers and apprentices

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in engineering
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Experience working on a range of escalator brands
• Safety-focused with excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Full UK driving licence
