Electronics and Instrumentation Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Review, assess, and implement electronic and instrumentation systems within the supply chain for space propulsion technologies, ensuring compliance with ECSS standards.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between external electronic contractors and internal multidisciplinary teams.
- Apply ECSS engineering standards (e.g., ECSS-E-ST-50, ECSS-E-ST-55, ECSS-Q-ST-30) across the system lifecycle.
- Review electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and instrumentation architectures.
- Perform system-level testing, validation, and commissioning to ensure performance and compliance.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolution of issues during assembly, integration, and testing phases.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in electronic engineering and instrumentation, within aerospace, defence, or space.
- Solid understanding and practical application of ECSS standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for system optimization.
- Ability to quickly integrate into the team and deliver on project milestones.
- Experience with space-qualified electronics design for reliability and radiation tolerance.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, CAN, MIL-STD-1553, SpaceWire).
