Our client is a leading name in the marine industry and now looking for an Electronic and Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team. They are a design and manufacture of top-quality marine products.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Marine Electronics Engineer to design, develop, commission, and maintain cutting-edge marine electronic systems. You’ll work with PLCs, electric circuits, and embedded software while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role involves both office-based design work and on-site commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Design and develop electrical circuits (AC/DC) and PCB layouts for marine applications.
✔ Program and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs and develop embedded software in C programming.
✔ Commission and maintain electric motors, switching circuits, and motor controllers.
✔ Conduct on-site commissioning and fault-finding when needed.
✔ Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with marine electronic standards.
✔ Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and clients.
Salary Package:
✅ Strong knowledge of marine electronic standards (N2K).
✅ Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens) and fault-finding skills.
✅ Experience with electric motors, switching circuits, and motor controllers.
✅ Proficiency in Eplan, AutoCAD, and Hydraw for design.
✅ Degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
✅ 3+ years of experience in marine electronics or a similar role.
✅ Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning when required.
Bonus Skills:
✔ Experience with hydraulic systems and knowledge of marine product certification.
✔ Practical experience in marine environments (personal or professional).
