Electron Beam Welder
Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor electron beam welding machines to perform precise, high-quality welds on various metals and super alloys within a cleanroom environment.
• Inspect and prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, aligning components, and conducting visual and mechanical inspections of welded joints.
• Identify and resolve issues with the electron beam welding equipment, performing regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure welding specifications are met and the process integrates smoothly with manufacturing.
• Follow all safety procedures for working with high-voltage equipment and hazardous materials, including the safe handling of acids for weld sample evaluation.

Requirements
Essential

• Excellent working knowledge of cleanroom assembly and integration activities.
• Strong understanding of and proven experience with electron beam welding processes.
• Proficient in using measuring equipment for quality control and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety.

Desirable

• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to evaluate welds.
• Previous experience in a high-precision manufacturing or industrial environment.
