Overview We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join a Gloucester-based organisation on a fixed-term contract to support a number of key data initiatives across the business. This role will play a key part in improving reporting capability and supporting a new ERP programme, helping the business better extract, integrate and utilise data across multiple systems. Key Responsibilities Data & Reporting (Non-ERP Projects)
- Support the rollout of a new Power BI reporting capability across the business.
- Work with existing tools such as Phocas to analyse and interpret operational data.
- Integrate and consolidate data from multiple sources, including Internal systems, to improve reporting accuracy.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting outputs for stakeholders
- Quickly learn and adapt to new data tools and platforms.
- Assist with data extraction and preparation for an upcoming ERP system implementation.
- Expand existing demo datasets into larger, more representative data sets for wider use.
- Support the rollout of ERP data across the wider group.
- Help ensure data structures, files and outputs are suitable for the ERP implementation.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of data as the project progresses.
- Experience working in a Data Analyst or Business/Data Reporting role.
- Strong experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Experience working with data extraction, transformation and reporting.
- Comfortable working with multiple data systems and tools and quickly picking up new platforms.
- Exposure to ERP systems or ERP implementations (implementation experience is beneficial but not essential).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
