Customer Support Engineer - Northamptonshire - £45,000–£55,000 + Global Travel

Are you a hands-on engineer who enjoys working directly with customers and travelling internationally?

I’m working on an exciting Customer Support Engineer opportunity within a specialist communications and defence environment, supporting complex technical systems across the UK and overseas.
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for:

• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of communications and network systems
• 2nd-line technical support and repair
• Customer site surveys and technical troubleshooting
• Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and customer trials
• Customer training and technical demonstrations
• Requirements capture and technical documentation
• Working closely with customers and internal engineering teams
• Around 70% site-based, with UK and international travel

• RF / Radio
• Datalinks
• Networking / TCP/IP
• Telecommunications
• Communications systems
• Defence or other complex technical environments
• Hands-on installation, commissioning or field service
