Pay: £42,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Location: Gloucester
 
Are you an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor with a strong background in production and team leadership, looking for your next challenge?
 
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking to appoint a motivated Conversion Supervisor to lead the Conversion team at our Gloucester site. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, people-focused supervisor who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
 
Conversion Supervisor
Job Description

• Oversee conversion production schedules and adapt capacity to meet demand
• Lead, motivate and manage the conversion team and daily operations
• Coordinate with departments including Extrusion, Maintenance, Logistics and Technical
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (5S, SMED, TPM)
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards

 
Conversion Supervisor
Experience / Skills / Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within manufacturing or production environment
• Experience supervising teams within a conversion or processing environment
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes
• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• ERP experience and strong computer literacy desirable
