Job Description
- Administer major and highly competitive contract requirements, including Basic Agreements and Long-Term Contracts
- Analyse customer performance requirements, delivery schedules, pricing, and terms & conditions to ensure full compliance
- Review and develop Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and prepare compliant, complex proposal packages
- Support bid initiation by coordinating cross-functional input from across the business
- Negotiate complex contract requirements, including price, terms, delivery schedules, and contract changes
- Lead or support contract risk reviews and provide proactive recommendations to mitigate potential issues
- Monitor contract performance, manage change control processes, and ensure efficient issue resolution
- Act as a consultant to management on major contractual matters and mentor junior colleagues
- Previous experience in contract administration, ideally within aerospace, defence, or engineering
- Strong background in proposal development, contract negotiation, and risk management
- Experience liaising directly with customers on complex contractual issues
- University degree (or international equivalent) is ideal but not essential
