Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional bid teams, collaborating with Sales, Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Technical functions
- Develop and execute commercial strategies for project and aftermarket opportunities
- Identify, evaluate, and manage commercial, contractual, and financial risks in line with governance requirements
- Review, draft, and negotiate contractual terms and conditions, providing clear recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Provide commercial input into pricing strategies, cost models, and financial assessments
- Support a smooth transition from bid phase to delivery through effective contract handover
Essential:
- Strong commercial acumen with experience of complex contractual terms, including FARs/DFARs and UK/US export controls
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Capability to understand technical product offerings and bid documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to lead across matrix environments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts within oil & gas, power generation, or energy sectors
- Background in commercial, sales, customer service, engineering, or technical product sales
