Our client, one of the largest international independent manufacturers of metallic aerospace components, is expanding and looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join their team. The role involves setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components for the aerospace industry.
The ideal candidate will have strong milling experience, be proactive and driven, and confident with machine set-ups.

Job Description

• Set and operate CNC milling machines (minimum 3 Axis).
• Read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation.
• Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling
• Complete machining operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions
• Use and control of CNC programs in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Machine high precision metal components for the aerospace industry.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines (3 Axis minimum).
• Experience machining high precision metal components within highly regulated industries (e.g. aerospace, automotive, nuclear).
• Must have experience working with metals and tight tolerances
• Ability to work autonomously, with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Ability to pass a DBS check.
