CHP Maintenance Engineer
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites across the UK to carry out routine servicing and first-response breakdowns on CHP units ranging from 30kW to 500kW
- Perform a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, with occasional overnight stays depending on site location
- Produce detailed site service reports, clearly identifying faults, remedial actions, and improvement opportunities
- Liaise effectively with customers, service coordinators, and the wider technical team to ensure smooth service delivery
- Provide technical support to colleagues and contribute to the wider technical support function
- Support internal and customer training activities where required
- Maintain strict health & safety standards, including completion of risk assessments and method statements
- Act as a professional brand ambassador, representing the business to a high technical and ethical standard
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a CHP Service or Maintenance Engineer, or within a closely related power generation role
- Strong practical knowledge of LTHW hot water systems, including pumps, inverter drives, flow rates, delta T, boilers, and BMS interfaces
- Solid electrical engineering knowledge of LV power generation and distribution systems
- Experience with CHP control and monitoring platforms such as ComAp, Web Supervisor, InteliMonitor, LiteEdit, TEM / TPEM
- Comfortable working with diagnostic equipment including flue gas analysers and digital flow / temperature profiling tools
- Confident working independently in the field while maintaining strong communication with office-based teams
- Positive, proactive mindset with strong customer-facing skills
- Willingness to travel, cover high mileage, and stay away from home when required
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
- 18th Edition (IEE Wiring Regulations)
- Strong IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience using laptop-based engine control software
- Manufacturer training (e.g. MWM)
- Gas Safe certification
