Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join Gedore Torque, a leading provider of torque and tooling solutions. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to engage with end users in the garage, workshop, and wider automotive sectors, combining strong technical knowledge with a consultative sales approach.

Up to £45,000 + per annum + 10% Quarterly Bonus + £5,500 Car Allowance
Home Based / Field Based across the South and South West UK

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within the South and South West region through a mix of account development and new business generation.
  • Identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions for torque tools, bolting systems, and workshop equipment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, distributors, and key accounts across the automotive and industrial sectors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, customer service, and engineering to deliver excellent customer support.
  • Use CRM systems to track opportunities, monitor activity, and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Represent Gedore Torque at trade shows, customer visits, and regional industry events.

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical B2B sales, ideally within automotive, engineering, or tooling markets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a consultative sales style.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively across the South and South West UK.
  • Comfortable understanding and interpreting technical specifications and customer requirements.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
