We climbed Scafell Pike for charity!

Some of our team climbed Scafell Pike on Saturday, in the wind and rain to raise money for Phyllis Tuckwell, Hospice Care. Adam Campbell Rebecca Fletcher Assoc. CIPD Sammy Dolan Assoc. It was a long drive up to the Lakes and took the team about 7 hours to reach the hotel, but we were really impressed with the staff and hospitality at The Wild Boar. They couldn’t have done more for us. The team spent the first night having a meal and socialising in preparation for a busy day. On the Saturday, they woke up early and drove the hour and a half to Wasdale for the start of the hike.

It was a hard walk but there were some great team-building moments to ensure everyone got to the top and it was an overall good weekend with the team!

Safe to say there are a few sore legs in the office today! We were very proud to have raised over £1,200 for Phyllis Tuckwell, Hospice Care.

Phyllis Tuckwell, Hospice Care is the only Hospice Care service for adult patients, and their families, living with cancer or another terminal illness (such as heart, lung or neurological disease) across the whole of West Surrey and part of North East Hampshire.
