Role Responsibilities:

• Directly report to the Head of Plant Quality Assurance, overseeing the serial product audit and metrology department.
• Support the entire production process, offering problem-solving expertise, root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions to enhance quality.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and processes across the Industrial area.
• Lead and schedule serial product audits and conformity tests according to group sampling requirements, reviewing and submitting results.
• Serve as the quality liaison between the UK Industrial business and group certification bodies, as well as relevant notified bodies for product accreditation.
• Provide leadership to the UK serial product audit team, offering coaching and development opportunities.
• Assist the manufacturing team in continuous improvement initiatives, fault finding, and coordinating containment and long-term actions.
• Occasionally act as a deputy for the Head of Plant Quality Assurance across both Manufacturing sites.

Essential/desired experience:

• Quality management experience within engineering/manufacturing
• Demonstrated effective team management skills.
• Proficiency in ISO 9001 standards and utilization of quality tools (8D, control plan, FMEA, etc.)
• Familiarity with SAP, AMS+, and Babtec is advantageous.
