This is a great opportunity to work for a great client of ours who manufacture & install security solutions. The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that their products and services meet all client and internal requirements. It will also be down to the Quality Manager to make sure that all records are traceable, maintained, and accessible.

Job Description

  • Will need to understand the needs and requirements of the customer to develop an effective quality control process
  • Review current specifications for products or processes and see whether they need editing
  • Monitor the suppliers and ensure that they are complying to requirements set
  • Make sure all health and safety guidelines & legal obligations are met
  • Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
  • Ensure that the final output meets all requirements
  • Ensure that all quality problems are investigated to lead to a solution
  • Train new Quality Assurance / Control employees
  • Make sure that the customers’ requirements are met
  • Create and submit detailed reports on the performance and the effectiveness of the management system
  • Identify and areas for improvement and create efficient procedures

Quality Manager
Essential Experience/ Skills/ Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred (ideally 2+ years)
  • Experience of ISO9001:2015 or AQAP2110
  • Either a CQI/ IRCA Certified lead auditor
  • Proven Quality management skills and knowledge of methods and tools of quality management
  • Experience of implementing Quality Procedures / systems (desirable)
  • Understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
  • Working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
  • Experience in engineering along with a good knowledge of manufacturers practices
  • Methodical approach to root cause resolution
  • Great communication skills across all levels of internal and external business. Effective written, verbal and IT skills (incl. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
