An established M&E Building Services Contractor are looking for a Heating & Plumbing Working Supervisor / Mechanical Working Supervisor to supervise their commercial and residential projects up to £2m from Bournemouth to Chichester up to Salisbury /Guilford. Initially look after a new build accommodation block in Guildford running up to July

Job Specification
- Responsible for supervision of all mechanical operatives on site (direct / Apprentices / sub-contractors / agency)
- Allocate the workload accordingly, meeting customer deadlines and always maintaining standards and quality of workmanship
- Leading teams of Plumbers
- Ensuring health and safety is maintained
- Organising materials and sub-contractors
- Toolbox talks
- Attend site meetings.
Mechanical Supervisor
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
- Experience of commercial and residential, plumbing and heating.
- Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of mechanical systems and their installation methods
- Must be able to work independently / interpret drawings
- The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines
- Day to day problem solving and answering/resolving any technical queries
- Completed Apprenticeship with NVQ level 3 in Plumbing OR Heating
- Must have Gold Level Engineering Services Skills Card
- Must have SSSTS / SMSTS

Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
- Gas safe would be an advantage but not essential
- Good people management and motivational skills
- The ability to plan ahead, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads
