Job Description
- Perform electrical and mechanical works required to install and commission generators, control panels, fuel systems and associated critical power equipment.
- Confidently build control panels and systems.
- Provide customer training for critical power equipment.
- Carry out complete testing, including FAT and SAT, for installed equipment.
- Install and configure connectivity through telemetry, BMS, and related devices.
- Conduct precise site surveys to aid the sales team with quotations.
- Provide expertise to the service team on fault finding, breakdown response, repairs, service and maintenance (PPM) and testing.
Installation & Commissioning Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Experience working with generators, control systems, fuel systems, installation work and fault diagnostics on critical power equipment.
- Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or similar).
- Understanding of the latest regulations and standards for installing generators, controls, fuel tanks, and critical power equipment.
