Requirements:
  • HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with relevant industry experience.
  • 5+ years in electrical process system design, review, and engineering.
  • Strong experience in control panel design, testing, and hazardous area compliance (ATEX).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD & Microsoft Office.
  • Expertise in control systems (Siemens/Rockwell) and industrial networks (Profibus, Profinet, AS-i, Ethernet).
  • Hands-on experience with instrumentation (flow, level, pressure, temperature, weight systems) and suppliers like Endress & Hauser, IFM, Siemens, and Mettler Toledo.
  • Ability to generate electrical drawings, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • UK Driving Licence (site visits required).

Responsibilities:
  • Develop electrical & instrumentation specifications for process plants.
  • Collaborate with process engineers and suppliers to define instrumentation requirements.
  • Support sales with proposal preparation and cost estimation.
  • Oversee control panel manufacturing, testing, and approval.
  • Design electrical loop diagrams, cable routes, and layouts.
  • Configure and commission instruments, VSDs, and control networks.
  • Assist with site power-up, I/O testing, and commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous area regulations (ATEX).
  • Manage project documentation and handover to clients.
