Role Overview:
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all components and assemblies meet strict aerospace quality standards. You will be inspecting precision-machined parts, utilising a range of measuring equipment, and working closely with the production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspection of CNC-machined components
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, height gauges, CMM, and other inspection equipment
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Carry out in-process, first-off, final, and goods-in inspections
- Record and report non-conformances, assist with root cause analysis, and support corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards
- Maintain accurate inspection documentation and quality records
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process
- Proven experience in a Quality Inspection role
- Aerospace industry background preferred
- Strong knowledge of geometric tolerances, engineering drawings, and quality standards
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
