Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and improve daily incoming and outgoing product inspection processes.
- Lead and mentor a small team of quality inspectors, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for quality issues, both internal and supplier related.
- Implement and maintain quality documentation, including inspection criteria, control plans, and work instructions.
- Collaborate closely with purchasing, engineering, and logistics teams to resolve quality concerns and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, or a related technical field preferred.
- 3+ years in a quality engineering role, preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong experience with visual and dimensional inspection methods, tools, and techniques.
- Proven ability to lead small teams effectively, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, TS16949
- Experience with PPAP, FMEA, FAIR, and SPC.
