I am looking for an experienced Production Manager to join a leading Aerospace business on full time and permanent basis. Our client seeks a dynamic Production Manager with strong leadership in fast-paced, precision manufacturing. Ideal candidates have CNC or fabrication experience (preferred but not essential), team management skills (30+ staff), and a track record of driving improvements, OTIF, and cultural change.

Job Description

• Lead the production facility to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in production processes, quality control, and cost reduction to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure on-time delivery (99% OTIF) through effective planning, process optimisation, and performance tracking.
• Develop and manage a skilled workforce by promoting training, upskilling, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques and business improvement projects to boost productivity, reduce waste, and support company growth.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Experienced production manager with strong leadership in fast-paced, precision manufacturing.
• CNC machining or fabrication background preferred but not essential.
• Skilled in team management, OTIF, lead times, and KPIs.
• Results-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement and culture change.
