Responsibilities:
- Lead strategy development, NPI, and support business sales and operations planning.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean methodology.
- Build strategic internal and external partnerships to support business objectives.
- Improve team performance, reduce setup times, and ensure staff development and succession planning.
- Meet or exceed operational targets within budget (safety, quality, cost, etc.).
- Lead, motivate, and develop the engineering team.
- Collaborate with sister companies to deliver solutions and enhance capabilities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Hold an engineering qualification HND or higher
- CAD/CAM expertise (Siemens NX preferable)
- Experience working within a highly regulated industry medical, nuclear, aerospace – will consider automotive (not motorsports)
- Managerial experience in engineering/manufacturing environments Experience working in a high-volume production environment.
- Will have worked in a company where they have first time practise as there is no room for errors.
- Will have led a team within a busy manufacturing environment
- Happy to be hands on as and when needed.
