Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description

• Manage and optimise processes from quotation and concept phase all the way through to production phase, creating resources and documentation outlining changes
• Ensure staff are trained on new and existing processes
• Study current processes, layouts and systems, suggesting ways to maximise productivity, save costs and maintain quality
• Work with a variety of internal departments including finance, R&D, H&S and production

 
Manufacturing Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Proven experience with cross-departmental collaboration
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Proven knowledge of Lean and Kaizen methodologies
• Ideally prior experience within an automotive environment
• UK driving license and flexibility to travel to different sites/suppliers
