Our client is well-established within the Manufacturing sector and are looking for a confident and passionate Laser Setter/Operator to set up machines with the required settings and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.

Monday – Wednesday 4pm – 2am, Thursday 4pm – 1am

Job Description

• Use and control of Lasers in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Ability to read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation.
• Understanding of and safe use of air tools and hand tools 
• Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Complete laser cutting operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Previous experience setting and operating multi-axis laser machines
• Be familiar with quality and manufacturing standards
• Previous experience setting and operating flatbed lasers or 3+ Axis CNC machines (milling, turning, EDM etc)
• Able to read an engineering drawing/job cards
