Are you an experienced buyer? Do you have experience of indirect procurement? If so, our client, a leading manufacturer of pedal driven vehicles, is recruiting for an Indirect Buyer for their site in northwest London. The role will involve supporting day-to-day indirect procurement, analysing data, and ensuring parts, services, and contracts meet business and stakeholder expectations.

Job Description

• Ensuring business needs are met within assigned commodity, adhering to processes for effective indirect spend management.
• Targeting cost-saving and consolidation opportunities in indirect categories while maintaining quality and service.
• Driving and developing a reliable, sustainable supply chain for alternatively sourced parts and services.
• Reviewing bids and tenders, maintaining contracts, and managing records of goods ordered and received.
• Analysing current spends, aiming for cost savings aligned with business KPIs, and provide update reports as needed.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Experience in a ‘hands on’ procurement role.
• Strong knowledge and experience of indirect procurement.
• Working knowledge of MRP/APS systems
