This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving site-wide health, safety, and environmental strategy – with a strong focus on Zero Harm, legal compliance, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced, high-tech production environment.

Owen Daniels Consultancy is supporting a global leader in manufacturing in their search for a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to join their high-performing team based in Wrexham.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving site-wide health, safety, and environmental strategy – with a strong focus on Zero Harm, legal compliance, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced, high-tech production environment.
HSE Manager – Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the Zero Harm HSE strategy on site.
- Act as the competent person for all Health, Safety & Environmental matters in the UK.
- Maintain and improve the HSE Management System in line with UK regulations.
- Support the site with audits, training, incident investigation, and risk reduction.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and all environmental legislation.
- Drive continuous improvement through metrics, reporting, and cultural change.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on new products, processes, and site expansions.
- NEBOSH Certificate (essential); NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable).
- Proven track record as an HSE Manager in manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge of UK HSE legislation and best practices.
- ISO 14001 experience (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with risk assessments, investigations, audits, and safety programs.
