We are working with an innovative manufacturer who are looking for a Graduate Production Engineer on a permanent basis. This role involves converting product requirements into engineering drawings, bills of materials and work instructions to ensure high quality manufactured products.

Job Description

• Convert customer requirements into 2D drawings and specifications
• Create manufacturing collateral including bills of material, routings and work instructions.
• Oversee pilot manufacturing to identify improvements and refine designs.
• Provide technical and manufacturing advice to internal teams
• Coordinate cross-functional projects from new product design to production handover.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or equivalent
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Proficient in 2D CAD software
