Are you confident travelling to customer sites and assessing/interpreting issues and providing practical solutions? Our client is a global manufacturer of Safety related control and instrumentation equipment and are looking for a Field Support Engineer to join their current team!

Field Support Engineer
Job Description

• Leading small/medium/large sized control or safety systems throughout the project lifecycle. Including Design, Build, test and commission
• Interpreting customer specifications including drawings/requirements and delivering changes to software/hardware for modification or rectification work. This could also include managing new builds of systems
• Hands on fault finding/programming and repair of safety focused control panels. This will include PLC programming
• Technical go-to for the department responsible for checking complex projects along with guiding other engineers
• Providing on call support for systems and products.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Ability to travel to customer sites for installation/rectification work
• Must be confident PLC Programming
• Electrical/Electronic qualification
• Proven experience working with control panels/PLC’s or HMI’s
