We are seeking an experienced hands-on ERP Project Manager to lead the migration from Sage 200 and EFACS to a new Group ERP system within a manufacturing environment. This role will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and RFP creation through to system selection, implementation, and go-live.
 
It is absolutely essential for the right candidate have strong project management expertise and a willingness to get hands on when needed, experience in ERP system migrations, and a deep understanding of manufacturing workflows are essential.
 
Responsibilities as ERP Project Manager:
 
  • ERP Migration & Implementation
  • Oversee the end-to-end project delivery, ensuring a smooth transition from Sage 200 and EFACS to the new Group ERP system.
  • Work closely with the Business Analyst to ensure all business processes are mapped, optimised, and aligned with the new system.
  • Develop and own the project roadmap, defining clear milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Ensure seamless data migration, system configuration, and process integration across departments.
  • Lead the RFP process, working with stakeholders to define ERP requirements and evaluation criteria.
  • Manage vendor selection, ensuring alignment with manufacturing operations, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
 
Requirements & Skills
 
  • ERP Project Management Expertise – Proven experience leading ERP migrations, particularly from Sage 200, EFACS, or similar manufacturing systems.
  • Business Process Documentation & Analysis – Ability to map, analyse, and optimise business processes, ensuring alignment with the new ERP system.
  • Manufacturing Process Knowledge – Strong understanding of production planning, supply chain, inventory control, and finance operations.
  • Data Migration & Integration Knowledge – Understanding of data structures, migration strategies, and system interoperability.
  • Cross-functional Experience – This role works across manufacturing, finance, and IT, requiring strong collaboration skills.
  • Experience with multi-site ERP rollouts across multiple manufacturing locations.
  • Change management experience – ensuring smooth transition and user training.
