Engineering Quality and Safety Assurance Engineer
Job Description
- Supporting external CAA and MAA Part 145 / Part CAMO audits, ensuring compliance with UK National aviation requirements.
- Implementing and maintaining Quality Assurance processes across ATrS Part 145 and Part CAMO operations.
- Planning and conducting Engineer Authorisation boards to assess and approve B1, B2 and A licence competence.
- Conducting Safety and Quality Assurance audits across Fleet Engineering and related departments, including audit planning, reporting and follow-up.
- Managing AQD quality and safety database actions, monitoring trends, and ensuring timely communication of compliance outcomes.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Strong experience in a UK CAA Part CAMO or UK CAA Part 145 environment.
- Proven track record working in a civil 145/CAMO environment (fixed wing aircraft) OR a civil 145/ CAMO auditing role (fixed wing aircraft) OR UK CAA Part 66 Licence holder (large aircraft)
- Background in Quality Assurance with strong auditing skills and report writing capabilities
- Formal aeronautical maintenance training.
