In this role, you will be:
- Supporting NPI and engineering departments by providing designs and 3D models for tools and fixtures.
- Ensuring designed fixtures and tools are safe to operate and capable to manufacture components.
- Providing CAM simulations for forming and machining processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing fixtures and tools for new products
- Support estimating and NPI teams with forming analysis for metal stamping and press brake forming
- Assist estimating team with fixture concepts for quotation purposes
- Responsible for maintaining site layouts
- Work with customers on design for manufacture (DFM) improvements
- Support toolroom and production engineering with designs and technical drawings
Key Requirements
- Degree, HNC or Equivalent in engineering discipline
- Designing fixtures and tools
- 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, including pressing, laser cutting, welding and machining
- 2D & 3D CAD, preferably AutoCAD (2D) and SolidWorks (3D)
