My client is a global manufacturing organisation who specialise in producing parts for the medical, life sciences and defence industries. They are looking for a customer service professional to join the business and manage the customer service team. Along the way dealing with any customer complaints and implementing any corrective actions necessary.

Customer Service Supervisor
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading a customer services team of 3-4 staff. This will include monitoring KPI’s as well as providing support.
  • Entering sales order information onto the ERP system (SAP)
  • Responding promptly and professionally to incoming customer service calls. You will also be managing all necessary outbound contact with customers.
  • Planning and processing customer orders where required. Responsible for updating customers throughout the sales order process.
  • Recording, responding and ensuring corrective action is taken for all customer concerns and complaints. Taking preventative actions to ensure this re-occur
  • Safekeeping of customer data, ensuring customer contact information is kept accurate and up to date at all times

Essential Skills/ Experience:

  • Previous managerial/supervisory experience within a Customer Service position.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office
  • Use of MRP/ERP systems. Or similar sales order processing software.

Desired Skills/ Experience:

  • Experience in manufacturing/engineering is advantageous
  • Previous working experience using SAP.
