Known for its expertise in gas turbine engine maintenance, the company offers inspection, repairs, and overhauls, ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards.

The primary purpose of the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Manager role is to manage and coordinate the activities of the Compliance Monitoring and Safety Department in alignment with the strategic business and operational performance targets.
The position is crucial in ensuring strict adherence to EASA/UK CAA regulations and other relevant standards. This role aims to maintain compliance, ensure flight safety, and meet corporate conformance (MOS) to surpass customer and legislative expectations.

Job Description
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all MRO activities comply with EASA Part-145, UK CAA Part-145, FAA FAR 145, and other critical regulations.
  • Safety Management: Manage and maintain a robust Compliance/Safety Management System (SMS), providing governance over corporate compliance.
  • Audit Leadership: Lead and schedule internal and external audits, ensuring timely execution and maintaining equipment calibration.
  • Non-conformance & Corrective Actions: Establish and manage a system for non-conformance, promoting effective corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive safety culture initiatives, manage Continuous Improvement (CI) recommendations, and support operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Set SMART targets, support direct reports’ development, and provide clear direction for successful team performance.
  • Quality Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory bodies, and company policies, including the promotion of 6S principles.

Essential Skills Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in compliance monitoring and safety management in an aerospace or MRO environment. ( 5 years minimum)
  • Expertise in EASA Part-145, UK CAA Part-145, FAA FAR 145, and other relevant regulations.
  • At least 1 year experience using a Safety Management System
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team to meet business objectives.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, non-conformance management, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
