Key roles & responsibilities as a CNC Turner:
- Manufacture components looking at Engineering drawings and specifications to ensure successful first time build and test of finished components.
- Be able to Programme, Set & Operate Turning machines.
- Adhere to all relevant instructions contained within Work Standard Instructions (WSI’s) in the manufacture of Compressor components.
- Conform to all aspects of the companies Quality Management System, including the fulfilment of all relevant procedures etc including all Standard Practice (SP’s)
- Deliver quality components in a timely manner whilst contributing to efficient and effective manufacturing principles.
- Interact and respond to all aspects of supporting cost reduction, efficiency, delivery and Quality improvements.
Key skills/knowledge as a CNC Turner:
- Engineering drawing interpretation ability.
- Experienced in multi-disciplined CNC machining – Turning, milling, boring.
- General Environmental Health and Safety awareness.
- Previous experience of Precision Manufacture.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
