The client has a fantastic company culture, paired with an ever-growing order book. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC and manual grinding.

Job Description

Set-up, operate and adjust grinding or polishing machines to grind metal workpieces
Dress grinding wheel, according to specifications
Select and mount grinding wheels on machines, according to specifications, using hand tools and applying knowledge of abrasive and grinding procedures
Examine and measure surface of workpiece to verify grinding meets specifications
Turn valves to direct flow of coolant against cutting wheel and workpiece
Measure and examine workpiece to verify that dimensions meet specifications
Removes finished workpiece from machine and places in boxes or racks, depending on size of workpiece

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

CNC and manual grinding experience
Cylindrical/universal grinding experience
Experience machining good components, within a good industry
Well-versed machining with decent materials.
